Chutney Turkey Burgers
Ingredients

- 1/2 jar Crosse & Blackwell® Major Grey's Chutney
- 2 pounds turkey, ground
- 2 tablespoons onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup parsley, finely chopped
- 2 apples, finely chopped
- 1/2 lemon, juice and grated zest
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon chipotle powder
Sauce:
- 1/2 jar Crosse & Blackwell® Major Grey's Chutney
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
Directions
- Mix all burger ingredients together in a large bowl.
- Shape into 8 patties.
- Grill over medium-high heat for approximately 7 min. per side, or until internal temp. is 170 degrees.
- For sauce, blend together Chutney with mustard, set aside.
- Serve burgers immediately with sauce on your favorite toasted artisan bread or whole-grain roll.
Tips
- For a little extra heat, try substituting Crosse & Blackwell® Hot Mango Chutney.
- For a South Asian twist, add 1 tsp. of curry powder in place of the chipotle powder.
- For a tangy sauce option, mix 1/2 jar of Crosse & Blackwell® Cranberry Chutney with 1 Tbsp. of creamy horseradish sauce. Bon Appetit!
